City Noise Ordinance Update
***UPDATE March 19 2026***
The revised ordinance, initially submitted by the Corvallis Police Department, was reviewed and subsequently passed by the City Council at their latest meeting.
We are confident these thoughtful changes address both the need for residential peace and the operational needs of businesses. The updates provide objective sound measurements that businesses, performers, and event organizers can easily follow.
We appreciate living and operating businesses in a City that actively supports its local business community! We would like to thank everyone who showed support by signing the petition and those that came to the City Council meetings either to speak in support or sit with us in solidarity. We are deeply humbled by everyone's generous support and uplifting spirits!
