This journey began with my interest in the culinary arts. This interest took me into the kitchens of many local restaurants where I was able to learn, grow and hone my skills. This led to my wife and I opening our own pop-up food concept where we would serve Mediterraean inspired dishes at local festivals and events. Our pop up is now a fully operational food truck, Kalamata Bistro. I eventually found myself working in the kitchen of a local brew pub. As I worked more in the craft beer industry I began to learn about what good beer tastes like. I felt a strong passion for the industry, loving its camaraderie and community. I wanted to take my love of quality, independent craft beer and fuse this with the concept of food truck cuisine. My vision was a place that offered amazing beer as well as unique and delicious cuisine served out of a variety of food carts. I wanted a place that would bring people together to enjoy good beer, good food and good company. A place with something for everyone, even our furry friends! Common Fields is the realization of that vision.

Local & Sustainable
Supporting our local community is at the forefront of everything we do at Common Fields. We buy from local vendors and feature local artisan products in our taphouse. Every beer we serve is from an Oregon brewery that is independently and locally owned and operated. The food trucks at Common Fields also share that vision and source as many local ingredients as possible from local community vendors. All food trucks are required to use compostable containers and utensils for service.
